  1. When in love, the human brain releases the same cocktail of neurotransmitters and hormones that are released by amphetamines. This leads to increased heart rate, loss of appetite and sleep, and intense feelings of excitement.
  2. Cats sleep up to eighteen hours a day, but never quite as deep as humans. Instead, they fall asleep quickly and wake up intermittently to check to see if their environment is still safe.

  24. Olympus Mons on Mars is the tallest mountain on any of the planets of the Solar System. The mountain is a gigantic volcano, standing at 26 kilometers tall and sprawling 600 kilometers across which is taller more than 3 time Mount Everest.
  25. Large parts of Canada have less gravity than the rest of Earth. The phenomenon was discovered in the 1960's.
